Can I leave items in my dresser drawers?

Yes, as long as it is not loose or breakable or the furniture is too fragile to handle the extra weight during transit.

Is my move insured?

Texas Department of Motor Vehicles regulates all Texas moving companies, and US Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier regulates Nationwide moving companies. Mandates are in place for consumer protections regarding coverages for specific move types.  Please refer to the links below for important consumer protection information.  You may also check your mover’s legal status by clicking  HERE.

In addition, third party insurance can be purchased when additional coverage is desired.  Please notify your moving consultant if additional insurance is needed.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Cash, cashier’s checks, credit cards and in most cases personal checks. Please confirm your type of payment when you schedule your move.

Do hanging clothes need to be boxed?

In some circumstances, hanging clothes do not have to be boxed, however, all items going into storage will need to be boxed for their protection. Please notify your mover if you are not planning on packing your hanging clothes and ask for additional options.

What items will not be taken by the moving company?

Your mover will not be able to transport flammable items (paint, aerosol cans, lamp oils, gas, propane, etc), guns, ammunition, or alcoholic beverages. In some cases, outdoor pottery or cement structures and outdoor plants may not be moved unless approved by the mover in advance.

Do I tip the movers?

Tipping is never required but is greatly appreciated. Most customers tip $20 – $100, per mover, however tipping is not expected. It is entirely up to you.

Do you move pianos or safes and other specialty items?

We move upright, console, and grand pianos as well as a variety of safes, gun safes and antiques. Please let us know, in advance, if you have any specialty items as part of your move as we do not move pool tables and hot tubs. Some items may carry an additional fee that will be included in your quote upfront.
