AMHC was able to schedule our move on short notice. The estimate was accurate and reasonable with no surprises. The moving crew were professional and took great care of items . I would definitely recommend and will use if I need moving services again

This is the third time I’ve used Affordable and have been completely happy with their services each time. Two of the moves were 250 mile moves and one was an in down move, they gave us excellent service on all three. All of these moves consisted of house to house and also items to storage. They never made a mistake in any of it. They communicate well, they do the job quickly and with great service. Highly recommended!

But this time I needed to move some big furniture for myself and as always they were great! Showed up on time, the guys were super friendly , fast and made sure to take care of everything like it was their own. So I will defiantly continue recommending them :-)

Recently used Affordable Movers to move an entire household. They showed up at 8:45 in the morning and were completely finished with delivery and set up by 10:30. These guys work QUICK! Extremely respectful and accommodating. I do not have one scratch or ding on anything we own. Really impressed with the level of service they provided. I will never move a whole house again without the help of this company. Huge Thank you to Cody and his crew!!

The prices are OUTRAGEOUS. The “estimate” is a complete waste of time. You can guarantee that the final price will be much higher.If you want labor only… they still charge you to bring a giant moving truck to your address and charge you the mileage and gas for it, even if you tell them you have your own truck and simply need the workers to load it. Obviously a tactic to take extra money from you.We hired a moving company in the town that we moved to to unload our truck and they immediately raised concerns to us that the truck was packed poorly. They told us that it was obvious amateur work and if it had been utilized correctly we could have fit ¼ or even ⅓ more into the truck, which would have saved us additional trips and uhaul costs.The owner, Lucretia Carroll Wilferth, was incredibly rude and snarky and got mad that we brought up any concerns about the move and proceeded to have an emotional outburst at us and deny they did anything wrong.Please save your money and go anywhere else. They’re not worth it.

This is the third time we’ve used affordable movers, and we couldn’t be happier with their business practice and their personnel. They arrived in a timely manner, the employees are very polite and helpful. They even took apart the bed frames and put them together again at the new house. If you ever need a mover, these are the guys to go to.

I had four heavy and incredibly awkward exam tables to move to our office’s attic. I was afraid that staff and volunteers would hurt themselves doing it and then I’d have a liability issue, so I hired Affordable Movers for an hour to come and get it done. They were prompt, professional, friendly, and quick. It worked exactly how I hoped it would.

Affordable Movers moved us from Fredericksburg to Canyon Lake after another mover canceled the day before our moving date. They saved us on very short notice and were the best movers we have ever used. When we move again we will only use them. This was in Feb. 2019. Sorry for the late review. The process was seamless - estimate, email confirmation and easy communication. The team who came out for the move were professional, kind and efficient. They were able to get everything moved in less time than anticipated. Thank you to Caleb and Cody in particular.Cody was able to shift the schedule around to get my move in a day before it was scheduled when I realized I had requested the wrong date.Caleb made an extra stop with his team to pick up an item of furniture I’d purchased and made sure the process went smoothly.Thanks again and I’ll definitely recommend you to anybody who’s moving.
